A Firearms License

is NOT a

CRIME !

In 2002 the combination of Military Service and a valid Firearms License was used as a justification ("exigent circumstances") of performing a warrantless search of the home of a London, Ontario Soldier. As a result of this search weapons charges were laid against the troop for a foam child's toy found among his military gear. These charges were withdrawn at the request of Crown Attorneys and complaints were filed with London Police Supervisors resulting in Disciplinary Action against the Officer. Unbeknownst to Canadian Armed Forces officials, the courts, or the troop, he was entered into various CPIC databases as a Firearms Interest Police (FIP) Subject. This is a database that lists anyone police suspect of engaging in violent criminal activity with firearms.

Four Years later (in 2006) this fact was used as a basis for Armed Entry into the Troop's London Home (by the same officer who had entered him into the CPIC system in the first place). While he was out enjoying a romantic dinner with his wife on her birthday a "Public Safety Warrant" was executed on his home by many heavyily armed members of the London Polices' Emergency response Unit. He was charged for a small folding Pocket Knife found on his coffee table (available at any Canadian Tire Store) and improper storage of a registered firearm (which was stored in a military  barracks box). As a result of this Tactical Raid, and the resulting weapons charges, the Soldier spent three years facing 2 yrs in prison and a 10 year mandatory weapons ban effectively ending his military service while Police seek to have him classified as a Dangerous Violent Offender - and he has never even gotten up from a chair.

Your Help is Still Needed - The Battle is Not Over Yet!

Together They Are NOT

 "Reasonable Grounds"

to Believe a Soldier is Going

to go on a Shooting Spree

Or So One Would Think.....

I wish I could remain silent and spare my beloved Army the spectacle of having Police agents attempt to turn military service and a firearms license into a criminal act, but I cannot. I must take the initiative and argue this point to the courts myself - and at my cost. This activity (and its paranoia based justifications) sets such a dangerous precedent, as it serves to violate the principles of freedom and liberty that I swore to uphold from enemies both foreign and domestic… and when a man’s most fundamental rights and freedoms are trampled on by those whose duty it is to protect them, they, by definition, become a domestic enemy. I am extremely disappointed that so many lives have been lost over the years fighting tyranny and police oppression abroad but when it happens here at home few are willing to fight it.

I CAN'T FIGHT THIS BATTLE ALONE ANYMORE - I NEED YOUR HELP CANADA!

Because a Single London, Ontario Police Officer Considers Military Service, a Firearms license, and Complaints Made Against Him as

REASONABLE GROUNDS

to believe that the Troop is a

"Threat to Public Safety"

The Troop Literally did Nothing  -   Police Admit to This  -  An Alibi is Useless to Him

No Criminal History  -  No Complaints or Accusations Made Against Him

The Soldier was Forced to Represent Himself at Multiple Criminal Proceedings (including drafting and arguing a Charter Application) Over a Six Year Period as the Legal Expenses Involved were so Excessive that a Second Mortgage Placed on the Troops London Home is Insufficient to Cover the Price of Representation.
